Hello! and welcome to The Ingrid Education Centre which is a school run for orphans and needy children in the heart of Nairobi-Kenya.
Ingrid is an oasis in the middle of a desolate slum area,where poverty, hunger, illness and deprivation are in much evidence.
The school was founde by a local committee of teachers who saw the need to bring the children education to better there chances in a very harsh environment.
Douglas M Onkware is the school principal and chairman of the school, parent and guardian board of memebrs.
 Margret Njambi ,aged 4.5 yrs, and over one hundred other children are given that chance of empowerment.We need YOUR help to continue a program toward self reliance.
